The Week of Fun!

This past week one of my best friends, Krista came from New Jersey to visit! She's out there being a nanny right now and we miss her tons but she loves it. We had such a good time while she was here, we were doing something everyday. The first day she arrived we hung out with the family mostly because my Papa was in town also! It's funny how right when she gets back it seems like she never left!

Some highlights of her trip were:
Harry Potter!!! Krista, Me, Allyson and Shaheen all went to the premier at The District. It was so much fun, and there were so many people dressed up. We planned to dress up, but I was the only one that ended up doing anything. I wore Harry Potter glasses!




























Even though I fell asleep during the movie I still had a blast. And, I got to see it again the next day for free with Sidney!

The next day we went to the Steele Days art show. My mom entered this beautiful painting...



Max decided he wanted to be part of Mom's art.



The next day we had a BBQ for Krista's 20th birthday at bandwagon park! It was really fun, and we had a ton of old friends show up!






















The "after party" was at The Motel 6! Sherri's boyfriend Tony works there and got us a room for her present! We met a whole soccer team from California and some crazy guy named Bret. It was probably the most spontaneous night ever!






On our last night we watched fireworks at Fox Hollow Golf Course and had a fire in my back yard after!
Allyson and I took Krista to the airport on Sunday and then got very very lazy when we arrived home, ha! We sat around talking for hours, falling asleep in between conversations!
This was such a fun week. Lots of random things happened but it was all worth it!

Runaway Shwayze!

Today has already been a funny day and it has just begun. I woke up this morning to go to work and I received a phone call from Tammy telling me not to come in until later today beacuae they are short tonight! So I went over to visit Grandma and Grandpa Player and then came home to have a nap. Allyson came over and showed me her hot new clothes. Her mom just loves shopping that lucky girl! We are bleaching Allysons hair today but this is us before!
I just love her. P.S. Allyson turns 20 tomorrow!!!!


My mom decided to take Shwayze to McDonalds because of course she got out when she opened the garage. Everything was going fine in the drive thru until Shwayze decides that she wants to escape! She jumped out the car window!! Mom freaks out. She puts the car in park and runs faster than she ever has. She caught Shwayze and got back in her car, but not before receiving this comment from the worker at McDonalds, "wow, you run really fast"! Shwayze needed a beating...




And a booting...



Thanks mom for putting up with my naughty puppy, but admit it, she's adorable!

It's been a while...

So quite a bit has happened since my last post, but for some reason I haven't blogged about any of it.
First things first, I went on a little trip to Lake Powell with one of my best friends Keisha, and her family! I really love being at the lake because it is just so relaxing ( and I also like so be able to swim whenever I please ha ha)! I remember when I was a lot younger my family used to go to the lake every year with our cute little blue boat! I miss being young and having all the time in the world to spend with my family, but I still enjoy the time we do get to spend together. I was pretty happy with my tan when I got home, but unfortunately...I was out in the sun a couple days later and my skin blistered and started to peel. I'm still waiting for my skin color to even out! Here are a some pretty pictures of the lake.










My dad came home to visit this weekend and I actually didn't have to work at all while he was here. I spent a lot of time with him and I was so glad that he was here! We did tons of yard work because it's hard for my mom and I to do it without him! Chomper was delighted to have grandpa back around, but he hated it when he left as we all did!







Fireworks were really fun this year. I haven't watched them just with the family for several years and it was really nice. We went to my Uncle Glen's son Dustin's house on the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course. We had some pretty big illegal fireworks of our own and we also watched the firework show the city puts on.







After Dad left we had to do something to keep him off our mind so we didn't make him call Drew and quit his job...so Candis made the most amazing bunt cake I think I've ever tasted. Allyson and I scarfed it right down!





Also... I chopped my hair,



And one more thing; Chomper decided to steal
Allysons hat and become a thug!




Last, but not least. Allyson, Amidy, Ryan and me all decided to have a BBQ last night at Ryans Cabin house. We had steak, hot dogs and smores. It was delicious!!

I can't wait for The Batchelorette tonight :) Candis is my partner in crime with this show. She feels my pain that it is not on everynight of the week. I want to be the next Batchelorette by the way. All those boys are so cute, excluding stupid Wes...your song sucks!!! There I vented haha!
