New things...same us!

         My sisters and I went on a cruise to start of our new year.  We went to Catalina & Ensenada.  It was a much needed vacation and so much fun being able to spend that much time with eachother.  We're all usually doing our own things so it was great!  I still missed Rorey a lot while I was gone, but they say it's good to miss eachother sometimes right?!  Cruises are now my favorite type of vacation.  I mean, you can do whatever you want, whenever you want to.  All the food was amazing!!
        The new season of the Bachelor started a while ago, and the whole crew, Allyson, Chuck, Amidy, Kinz, Samye, Candis and me have watched it every week.  It's a very intense season, especially Michelle Money from good old Salt Lake City.  Thanks for our new reputation is all I have to say to her... 
        Krista is doing awesome on her mission and she comes home this December, yay!
        I'm getting really excited about paying stuff off and being able to actually save money, I hope that it happens even faster than I'm expecting.  I've been trying to pay extra on everything so that I can get ahead, and hopefully be able to help out my family a little bit more instead of working so much! 
         Tomorrow is the Super Bowl.  Who is everyone cheering for?  I'm not really a football fan, but I always just copy Rorey and he is cheering for Greenbay...therefore, so am I lol. 
         Life is good.

New Job :)

This past week I was secretly asked if I would be interested in becoming a medical secretary for a Cardiothoracic surgeon named Dr. Patel that I work with a lot in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.  His previous secretary was leaving and they were looking for someone new.  It is all days, no more dreaded night shifts, no weekends, and no holidays!  I of course was interested in the position and I interviewed almost the next day.  Good news: I GOT THE JOB!  My first day was yesterday, and I already love it!  I am getting used to all of the new things and I feel like this is exactly what I needed.  I am so excited to be able to be home at a regular time and just be a wife instead of a constant work-a-holic.  The doctor that I work with is awesome, in fact, he had an interview today on CNN.  If you feel like looking it up his name is Amit Patel.  Oh and I forgot to say, I get payed a whole lot better than I used to, hooray, more money for more fun stuff on our house!  I love my house even though we've had problems with American Fork City.  We are finally done with Christmas shopping, besides the presents that Candis and I have made, we are still working a little bit on those!  I love the Christmas season!!

Oh p.s. our kitchen cupboard is now a chalkboard!! Yay

Scoota Gang Drama!

So the other day me and the scoota gang ( Candis & Ally) minus Krista and Drea went mainstreet shopping. We left around 1:00pm and we shopped all over AF and then went up to Highland too. We didn't realize how fast we had to go on the highway up to Highland sober had a minor pitstop while Candis' scooter cooled down. We ate at Blue Lemon, our favorite place and then we went to Dear Lizzie! On our way home my scooter decided to spaz out. Allyson and I were at a stop sign right around the corner from my house and I totally ran out of gas!! Rorey had to come to the rescue haha.

Needless to say after he saved us the shopping continued... Shade and Downeast were the last two stops. We shopped until almost 7:00pm without even knowing it. Time flies when you're having fun, shopping, or riding scooters ha!!

My Husband!

It's so weird to now be able to say I have a husband, and I am a wife! I'm sure you get uses to it quickly, but it's so funny at first! I seriously love being married, it's everything you'd hope for.



One of my favorite things about Rorey is the fact that he can always make me laugh!

Hayzel :)

I've finally changed the blog to Erica and Rorey!! Now it will be a little family blog with our new baby Hayzel! We have a new chocolate shih tzu. She is the cutest thing ever, we are absolutely obsessed. We hate going to work because we don't like to leave her at home, but everyone has been helping us take care of her!! Thank you! She's already "potty training" pretty well and she's only had a couple of rough nights.
